SS - WILL LOVE FINDS ITS WAY?(1)

Chapter-1 

It was him. All her past flashed on her mind. "Y-o-u?" she stammered and asked out of shock.

"Yes!" He looked into her eyes and replied.

"My ticket?" she asked while avoiding to look at him.

"Excuse me? What did you just say? Your ticket?"

One more word. She wasn't ready to hear one more word from him nor to see him or to listen what he was saying, she decided to get down from the bus. She walked halfway when Payal's words kicked her brain. She has promised to be there by tomorrow and nothing is available for the next few days. But she won't ask or beg him for the ticket. Never! After several conflicts with her mind, she heard someone calling her "Khush".

She knew from where she heard that. Only he used to call her that with so much of love.

"But now? No!" She thought and marched towards him "Don't call me that! My name is Khushi, understood?"

"Ok I won't, but here is your ticket"

"No I don't need it"

"Don't be so stubborn"

"I'm not"

"Then, take this ticket"

"Yes I'm taking this and will pay you double" she pulled the ticket from his hands and sat on the seat which was beside him without knowing the fact that she was trapped by his words. She pulled the arm rest down to separate them and sat as much as distant from him. She searched for her purse but it was in vain. She then realized that she kept her purse in her suitcase taking little amount in her pocket.

"I'll pay you when I get down" she spoke looking down. But there was no reply from him which was confusing her. After so much hesitation, she looked to his side and found him sleeping. She always loved his sleeping face which resembled a baby.  She wasn't able sit at that place for so long as her thoughts were disturbing her a lot. Then she saw a call from Payal which eased her mind and accepted it in no time.

"Hi! Payal"

"What are you doing?"

"I'm reaching you. I mean, I got my bus to Shimla, Tada!"

"Really? Wow! When?"

"Yes. Really! An hour ago. I guess I'll be reaching there tomorrow morning at around 5 or 6".

"Wow! I'm excited. Can't wait for tomorrow. Also NK and Lavanya will be coming around 10."  Khushi smiled listening to her friend's excitement and she chatted for a long time without knowing that a pair of eyes was watching her.

"Akash told me that even Arnav will be coming around 5 and by the same travels which you mentioned now. Did you see him? I mean, is he in the same bus in which you are---"

"I don't know" Khushi stopped Payal with her answer and turned to look at Arnav and was shocked to see him awake. 'Wasn't he sleeping?' She asked herself.

Payal sensed the silence of Khushi and mentally cursed herself for bringing Arnav's name. "O-k-a-y Bye! See you soon! And Akash will come there to receive you. Good night" she spoke finally.

"Good night!" Khushi hung the phone and slipped it into her pant pocket. She saw Arnav staring at her with the corner of his eyes like a thief. She just wanted the time to pass soon. She took a shawl from her handbag and wrapped herself and rested her head on the headrest to sleep as the chill AC air was fanning her face. Soon she dozed off and woke up the next day only to find herself laying her head on his shoulders. She didn't know when she fell on him and there was no arm-rest in between which was separating them. Khushi jerked at once and sat straight pulling the arm-rest down again.

It was almost 5 am in the morning and they will reach Shimla anytime but he is still sleeping. "Thank God! He is sleeping, otherwise what would have happen if he was awake?" She thought and sighed. Finally they reached but he was still sleeping. She wanted to wake him but hesitated. She called the other passenger and asked him to wake him up. She felt relieved when he woke up and got down from the bus and took her luggage from the trunk and stood at a corner. She saw him coming too, but she didn't pay much attention.

"Booo!" someone shouted in her ears from behind making her jump and scream aloud.  

"Shhh.. People are around"

"You totally scared me Akash" she replied and gave a friendly side hug to him.

"It has been ages since I last saw you. How are you Khushi?"

"I'm good Akash and congrats for your wedding" she spoke and in mean time Arnav joined them and hugged Akash.

"Hey Bro! How are you?" Akash asked him while hugging.

Khushi coughed loudly indirectly stating her presence.  Akash noticed that they were both avoiding each other and quickly headed towards the parking lot to take them home as soon as possible.
